That is horrible and shocking news. Over the past few years I had spoken to Clem on the phone. We were talking last year, spring or summer of 07 and I said I wanted to come down to Philly to see a ballgame. He said he would look into it.
I feel awful about not making more of an effort to see him in person. I know he was very worried about the health of his other sister.
He was a great guy. I will really miss him.
You should check out topica.com. There is a USSAshtabula message board. It is free to register. It was started by Clem Horne who was disbursing officer from around 1970 to about ’72. I was in OPS Div from ’71 to ’75.
