    Hello Mr. Kirst,

    My father was also on the USS Ashtabula when it was torpedoed in 1944.
    I am trying to find out how long he served on the Ashtabula. He passed away in 1980. Can you email me a copy of the photo that you have? i would greatly appreciate it. My dad was John A. Kassick, Jr.

    I am looking for someone who knew my Dad, John A. Kassick, Jr. I am trying to get a history of his service aboard the USS Ashtabula. I went to the decommissioning of the ship at Pearl Harbor with my Mother, Eleanor Kassick. Can anyone help me?
