hey, i believe the big samoan BM1 that you are trying to recall was MALUPE i started off in deck force in sept.79 went on to stream team with Chief Painting about nine months later, i went on two westpacs ,left towards the end of westpac 82. wish i had stayed for the full deployment so i could have crossed the equator. love to hear for any BULA BOY, i am currently in Guam, getting processed to go in the Military Sealift Command.
