Became ships barber before I left for Diego Garcia in 77. Got out in 79 just before last boat was decommed. USS Dyess DD880 at Brooklyn Navy yard. Many happy memories of the bula. Smiley face was still on front of the superstructure when I reported. Remember how pissed we were when it was painted over.
